Regenerative Leadership: Stay Humble & Think For Yourself!

In a world that is built on structures of power and control, often fueled by fear and disempowerment, it is important to think for yourself and not blindly follow what you have been told. Life is constantly changing and evolving. Unlike organisms, super organisms like fungi, termites, and ants leverage their diverse talents and experiences through interconnectedness and resource-sharing. This is what puts the SUPER in SUPER-organism. They pool together their unique skills, experiences and wisdom and evolve and advance through feedback loops, not strict ideologies or hierarchical pyramid schemes.

These communities teach us that 'wealth' is synonymous with 'health' and that individual well-being is reliant on collective wellbeing and vice versa.

Bob Johansen observed that disruptive innovation often occurs when two opposing concepts come together and shatter the frame of constraint, like sunshine and showers exploding into rainbows! Imagine humans embraced differing perspectives with a sense of awe and curiosity as a recipe for something special?

Don't be afraid to wake up and think for yourself or to be authentic. Most of our lives are rented out to fulfill someone else's purpose. Embrace your own unique wisdom, own it, share it and also be open to adapting and reinventing yourself and your beliefs in every moment. As Darwin said, "It is not the strongest of the species that survives, it is not the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change."

True intelligence is not about retaining other people's beliefs; it is about being humble and open to all possibilities and to be able to think for yourself. It's also understanding that your perspective is but one facet of a multi-faceted, light-refracting, micro-verse of a gemstone... so think for yourself and don't forget the wise words of confuscious "Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance."
